JLD / INFORMATION

Terms of Use

The conditions for using JLD.

1. About these Terms

These Terms explain the conditions for using JLD, a fitness planning and logging application operated by Mohammed Al-Sulaiti in Qatar. By accepting these Terms, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information; accepting these Terms does not replace a separate consent required for sensitive data or optional device permissions.

2. Who may use JLD

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in access secure, and contact us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization. You are responsible for your own use of the service; you are not automatically responsible for activity caused by a failure of our security obligations.

3. Fitness information and your safety

JLD helps you organize training and record workouts, nutrition, body measurements, steps, and the Stack items you choose to track. Its exercise tutorials, estimates, progress suggestions, and reminders provide general information. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, or a substitute for a qualified professional assessing your circumstances.

Training, calorie, and body-composition estimates may be incomplete or inaccurate. Choose activities appropriate to your experience and condition. Stop exercising if you experience pain, faintness, or other concerning symptoms and seek appropriate assistance. Ask a qualified professional about injuries, medical conditions, pregnancy, medicines, or other circumstances that may affect your training or nutrition.

The presence of a supplement, medication, peptide, dose, or protocol in your records does not mean that JLD recommends it or considers it safe, effective, lawful, or appropriate for you. JLD is not an emergency service. Do not rely on notifications for time-critical medical treatment; notification delivery can be affected by your device and operating system.

4. Free access and future paid features

JLD is free to use at launch. Creating an account does not start a paid subscription. We may introduce optional paid features or change which features are offered without charge. Before a paid purchase, we will clearly present its price, duration, renewal conditions, and any applicable additional terms. You will not be charged merely because you previously used JLD for free.

If we materially reduce existing free functionality, we will provide reasonable advance notice where practicable and as required by law. Nothing in these Terms commits you to a future purchase or waives your statutory consumer rights. We will update the relevant terms and purchase disclosures before subscriptions or other paid products become available.

5. Your records and permissions

You retain your rights in the records and content you submit. You authorize us and the service providers acting for us to store, process, synchronize, and display that content only as needed to provide, secure, and maintain JLD, handle your requests, and meet applicable legal duties, as explained in the Privacy Policy. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to us or authorize advertising use of health information.

Only enter information you have the right to provide. Review values imported from connected services. If you choose to export or share a report, you control who receives it, and those recipients may keep their own copies. Optional Apple Health and notification permissions can be managed in the relevant device settings.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use JLD to break the law, infringe another person's rights, access another account without permission, introduce harmful software, bypass access controls, or disrupt the service. Do not misuse automated requests to interfere with availability. These restrictions do not limit rights that cannot lawfully be restricted, including any applicable rights to interoperability or security research.

7. JLD content and third-party services

JLD's software, branding, interface, and supplied content belong to their respective rights holders. Subject to these Terms, you may use the app for its intended personal fitness and logging purposes. Rights expressly reserved by law remain unaffected.

Third-party platforms, including Apple and sign-in providers, may have their own terms and privacy notices. We remain responsible for our own obligations. Apple's standard end-user license agreement applies to the iOS application where applicable; these service Terms are not intended to replace it or reduce mandatory App Store protections.

8. Availability, changes, and account closure

We work to keep JLD available and accurate, but maintenance, outages, connectivity failures, and device limitations may interrupt access or synchronization. Check that important changes have synchronized before switching devices. We may update features to improve the app, address security issues, or meet legal requirements.

You may stop using JLD and request account deletion through the app. Uninstalling the app alone does not delete your cloud account. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, a security risk, or a legal obligation. Where appropriate and lawful, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us about the decision. Deletion and any limited retention are described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Responsibility and consumer rights

You remain responsible for decisions about your training and for how you use general information from JLD. We do not guarantee particular fitness results or uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused solely by circumstances outside our reasonable control or use contrary to these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including applicable liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or injury caused by negligence. Nothing removes statutory warranties, remedies, or other mandatory consumer rights. No blanket indemnity or mandatory arbitration obligation is imposed by these Terms.

10. Applicable law, changes, and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Qatar, subject to any mandatory protections that apply in your country of habitual residence. This does not prevent you from bringing a claim before a court or authority available to you under mandatory local law. Please contact us first if you have a concern so we can try to resolve it.

We will display the effective date and version of updated Terms and give notice of material changes where required. Where renewed acceptance is required, we will request it. Changes will not impose a charge without a separate purchase authorization. If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
